Reimagine Space Age Design
Space-age design reflects an optimistic vision of the future, defined by smooth, flowing forms and bold, sculptural silhouettes. Visually, these designs appear to have minimal surface breaks that allow form to read clearly and confidently, presenting technology as expressive and forward-looking.
Key Visual Cues...

Smooth, Continuous Surfaces
Flowing, uninterrupted forms that communicate fluidity, optimism, and advanced manufacturing.
From Road to Ocean

Bold, Readable Silhouette
A confident, sculptural outline that prioritizing clear massing over surface complexity.
Centralized Core
A dominant inner core that suggesting energy, function, and life at the center of the object.

Explores how space-age design can be reinterpreted today as an expressive language for modern technology.

Design Process

Inspiration: Soften Diamond-shape
This shape balances structure and flow—retaining the confidence and clarity of a geometric silhouette while introducing smooth curvature that aligns with space-age aesthetics.

Final Outcome

...
Rounded Diamond
It creates a bold yet fluid space-age silhouette that focuses energy forward and feels distinctly alien.

Centralized Core
The design is built around a centralized, sealed core where sound and light originate. allowing illumination to softly diffuse through the outer shell and add a sense of precision and delicacy.

Alien-like Creased buttons
The controls are integrated into a subtle central crease, allowing interaction to emerge from the form itself.

Blended Surface
The footer and passive radiator are sculpted as a continuous surface, extending the smooth design language to micro-level transitions.

Bold Figure
A confident, sculptural outline that prioritizing clear massing over surface complexity.

Intricate under simplicity
A double-layered front cover combines a structural support mesh with a soft outer layer, balancing acoustic protection and strength while preserving a refined, uninterrupted appearance.
Acoustic Layout & Ergonomics
Angled driver placement increases spatial sound coverage and reduces on-axis intensity, while the bottom-mounted passive radiator uses surface coupling to reinforce low-frequency output within a compact form.
